Self portraits

5/2/24

Last week the Almond Kiddos drew their self portraits and wrote out their names.

We did this on a big black paper with a white crayon and mirrors to see ourselves!!

Creating self-portraits is a wonderful way for young learners to work on fine motor, observational and focusing skills. It also helps them to explore their sense of self and build their self-identity. Self-portrait activities also encourage children to learn more about themselves, their classmates and start foster a sense of belonging within the classroom.

They all have come a long way since the beginning of the school year.

We are SO proud of how they all turned out!
