Almonds First Shabbat

 Every Friday we do Shabbat at school! We sing songs, give charity, make challah (every other week) and get a yummy shabbat treat, grape juice and cookies!!

On Friday morning we also heard Rabbi Shusterman blow the Shofar (rams' horn) to get ready for the holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur coming up next month. He is going to blow it for all EC children every Friday until the holidays.
