Library Visit With Ms. DJ

Our library visits with Ms. DJ started back up today! 

With Mrs. DJ we read some books, did some color recognition, sang some songs and she even let us play with her instruments!!  

My Almond friends really enjoyed her visit!!

Shabbat Assembly

10/27

Today we had a Shabbat Assembly with the all the EC classes! Rabbi Birnhack lead the prayers/song session! 

It was really nice to see all the classes together singing along, clapping and doing hand motions with Rabbi Birnhack! 

We sang lots of nice Shabbat songs getting ready for shabbat this evening!

Today we also made challah, we decorated our bags with different kinds of stickers and decorated our challahs with chocolate chips!!

Art Studio Fun🎨

Today in the Art Studio we had a Painting day!!

We had one table covered in white paper with regular colored paint and brushes on it! 

The other long table had black paper covering it and had metallic paints and different painting tools like combs, and foam paint brushes!

Then we also had a table that spelled out ALMOND and we used pastel crayons to color in the letters!!

Happy Monday Almond! 

Today was our outdoor classroom day! Today we got to play in the sand and help Ms. Lauren dig/ pull out carrots from out Almond garden box.

We collected so many carrots for the bunny!!

All my Almond friends helped me pull out the carrots from the dirt, some were tiny and some were big! 

It was very cool for my friends to see where carrots come from and all the different shapes and sizes they grow into! 

After collecting all the carrots we then pulled off the stem from the carrots and wash off just the carrots. 

After afternoon snack on our way to car line for dismissal we dropped off the stems and carrots to Bun Buns the Kindergarten bunny! 

Ms. Gough gave us a BIG thank you and will feed Bun Buns out carrots and stems for dinner!
